US alcohol deaths and Covid lockdown

The Recovery Research Institute summarised University of California et al’s Alcohol-induced deaths in the US across age, race, gender, geography, and the Covid-19 pandemic – sharing that alcohol-related mortality rates rose substantially since 1999 with a sharp increase during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rises were sharpest among women and those aged 25-34.
