Video games: gambling link

The 2025 survey, conducted by Spillforsk at Norway’s University of Bergen, reinforces and expands on earlier research that suggested video gaming can be a gateway to gambling behaviour. It surveyed 9,000 children aged 12-17 – overall, 7.1% met the criteria for gambling problems, and 15% had issues related to gaming.
