Drug deaths soar in Scotland

Scotland’s drug deaths surged by almost 20%, most in Glasgow which is the site of the controversial Thistle consumption rooms launched earlier this year. New figures show 291 suspected drug deaths recorded July-September, up from 244 in the same period last year.
