The Department of Health and Social Care and UK Health Security Agency produced prevalence estimates of people using opiates and/or crack in England 2022-2023: 310,718 users. Opiate and crack cocaine use: prevalence estimates 2016-2020 uses different methodologies so the estimates cannot be compared against each other.
