LGA: ban patient brokering

The Local Government Association and campaigners called for urgent action to tackle the exploitation of vulnerable people through ‘patient brokering’ in England’s drug and alcohol treatment sector.  This involves individuals or organisations prioritising financial incentives for referring patients over the clinical needs of the patient.
