Trump brands fentanyl a “weapon of mass destruction”

Donald Trump signed an executive order this week designating fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction and explaining that “iIllicit fentanyl is closer to a chemical weapon than a narcotic”. The White House said the move “unleashes every tool to combat the cartels and foreign networks responsible for flooding communities with this deadly substance”.
