Australia: 1 in 4 injured drivers is high on drugs

Ketamine, cocaine and fentanyl are on the rise in Victoria, with a Monash University study finding almost a quarter of injured drivers were found with illicit drugs in their system. It analysed 10 years’ worth of blood tests taken from 10,000 injured drivers attending hospital. Motor cyclists had the highest prevalence of impairing substances.
