The Neural Craving Signature, a machine learning derived neuroimaging biomarker, differentiates people with from those without substance use disorders but had not been evaluated for predicting clinical outcomes. Now Sweden’s Linköping University et al’s initial findings support the NCS as a prognostic neuromarker for relapse in AUD.
