The University of New South Wales et al published Trends in gamma-hydroxybutyrate use, harms and treatment in Australia, 2013 to 2024, showing that these all increased. It urged implementation of acceptable, tailored prevention and harm reduction strategies for key populations, and stronger monitoring efforts nationally and internationally.
