NSPCC wades into social media fray

Chris Sherwood, CEO of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, urged the prime minister to stand up to big tech for their failures that put children in harm’s way. He set out 3 key actions for government: ensure under 13s are not on social media, harmful content is blocked at source, platforms no longer use design tricks to keep teens hooked.
