Youths addicts return to ER more than adults

Research shows that northern Ontario youth with substance use disorders are more likely than adults to revisit the ER. A 6-year study by the Health Sciences North Research Institute highlights the need for better follow-up care, not just emergency treatment, for vulnerable youth, CTV News reported.
