Housing discrimination and drug use

US bipartisan congressional lawmakers filed a bill – the Fair Future Act – that would strike a section of the 1988 Fair Housing Amendments Act that the lawmakers say has prevented over 9million people from accessing rental housing, no matter how serious or light the drug charge was or how long it was since they were convicted.
