Scotland: drug-related deaths

Yesterday’s Public Health Scotland release presented data from the National Drug-Related Deaths Database on Drug-Related Deaths registered in Scotland in 2021-2022. The average of people who died was 44 years old, 52% resided in the 20% most deprived neighbourhoods, 60% lived alone – and 387 children lost a parent to drugs.
