According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, the prevalence of hallucinogen use disorder among 12-17 year-olds rose 41% 2023-2024: from 59,000 to 83,000. The survey by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration also estimated that 405,000 12-17 year-olds used a hallucinogen in 2024, implying that 20% had a hallucinogen use disorder.
