Map: states with worst drug issues

New data from Wallet Hub shows major differences across the US in drug use, overdose deaths and access to treatment, with New Mexico ranking as the state facing the biggest overall drug problem. Annual overdose deaths are at their lowest level since 2019 but overdose is still the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-44 years, Newsweek reported.
