Former rock wildman Pete Doherty is set to headline a free Recovery Connects music festival for people recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. The event, billed as “Scotland’s first alcohol-free festival”, will be held on 5 July. Organisers told The Sun that it took almost 4 years of talks to get the star on board.
