OAT and benzos lead to more deaths

Glasgow Caledonian University et al confirmed that about 50% of people prescribed opioid agonist treatment were also prescribed benzodiazepines – the mix is linked with increased mortality. There is a need to balance the risks of prescribed benzodiazepines against the potentially higher risks from illicit benzodiazepine use.
