More than 200 deaths were linked to weight loss jabs, according to figures from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency. Patients using weight loss meds filed about 158,000 reports of adverse reactions and serious side-effects. GLP-1 drugs available on the NHS include liraglutide/ Saxenda, semaglutide/ Wegovy and tirzepatide/ Mounjaro – and have been touted to treat addiction.
