Meta to pay $16.7Billion

The social media giant settled with 47 states, the District of Columbia and US territories, and agreed to make major changes to its products over claims its platforms endangered children, CNBC reported. The settlement detailed requirements Meta must make to its apps, including daily usage limits, “nighttime blocks” for teens, “enhanced age assurance measures” and additional tools for parents and guardians.
