TMS effect on alcohol craving

The University of Chinese Medicine et al published The Effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on Alcohol Craving, Efficacy, Emotion, and Cognitive Function in Patients With Alcohol Use Disorders – concluding that, compared to a ‘sham’ procedure, stimulating electrical activity in the brain using an external magnetic field reduced craving for alcohol in problem drinkers.
