PHS: evaluation of rehabs

Public Health Scotland yesterday published the final evaluation report of the Scottish Government’s Residential Rehabilitation programme, launched in 2021 to improve access to residential rehabilitation for people with substance use issues. It said that Scottish residents starting a residential rehab placement grew about 60% – but a 2025 survey showed that only 30% of respondents agreed that residential rehab is easily accessible.
