Problematic romance vs severe love addiction

Sapienza University of Rome found that people with clinical levels of love addiction suffer more severe relationship anxiety than those who are ‘at risk’. The study also found that both at-risk individuals and clinical patients share similar difficulties regulating their emotions, suggesting that love addiction is on a spectrum where intense attachment anxiety marks a transition into a clinical problem.
