Child rape at schools every day

Childhood trauma too often leads to later addiction as a coping mechanism – so it is an extra concern that police receive reports of child rape at schools in England & Wales every day on average: 4.7 sexual crimes against children aged 12 and younger daily. The scale of the problem was revealed via freedom of information requests to the 43 police forces across England & Wales, 33 of which responded.
