Senate GOP votes down bill to study marijuana as PTSD, pain remedy

Senate Republicans this week rejected a bill to direct the Veterans Affairs Department to study cannabis for veterans’ chronic pain and PTSD – “this retrospective study would be done strictly through volunteers who would talk about their experience with marijuana and PTSD” and “it depends on people to self-select and we don’t know how that would skew the results“.
