Burned-out workforce faces surging demand for services

83% of behavioral healthcare workers surveyed believe that, without public policy changes, provider organizations will be unable to meet surging demand for substance use disorder and mental health treatment services. The Harris Poll for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing consulted 750 behavioral healthcare workers and over 2,000 US adults.
