Needing younger workers, Feds relax rules on past drug use

The federal government, the US’s largest employer, is softening its drug screening rules for new hires so it can better compete with more lenient private employers in a tight labor market. Even the CIA and FBI are taking a more permissive stance toward past weed use, and the US military is giving some new recruits who fail a drug test a grace period to try again.
