European alcohol organisations bemoan Ireland’s alcohol labelling

Putting profit before health, Europe and wine industry organization Comité Européen des Entreprises Vins submitted formal complaints asking the European Commission to open an infringement procedure against Ireland for allegedly ‘breaching EU law’ with its planned new regulation on truthful labelling rules for alcoholic beverages.
