Europe strengthens law to tackle drugs

The new Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council revises the mandate of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction to keep pace with the rapidly changing drug market. On 1 July, the EMCDDA began a 1-year transition to become the European Union Drugs Agency on 2 July 2024. See more EMCDDA news.
