4 ways to say “No” to alcohol without saying it

It can be hard sometimes to refuse drinks offered by friends and family. Sarah Dermody of Toronto Metropolitan University suggests how you can say “no” without using the word “no”: “Thanks, I already have a drink”, “Thanks, but I am good for now”, “I would love to have a [non-alcoholic drink] instead” and “I decided not to drink today because [reason], but thanks for offering”.
