Kinship carers are in crisis

Breaking Point is the 1st report in Kinship’s 2023 annual survey series, exploring the lives of almost 1,700 kinship carers across England and Wales – it found that many kinship families are close to breaking point, struggling to access the support to continue as a family. Over 19,000 children are at risk of entering the ‘care’ system.
