The Cabinet Secretary, with the approval of the Prime Minister, announced the appointment of Dame Antonia Romeo as the new permanent secretary at the Home Office. She currently holds the role at the Ministry of Justice. She will replace Sir Matthew Rycroft who will leave at the end of this month.
