$7.4billion settlement against Purdue Pharma

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced a $7.4billion settlement was reached against the Sackler family and their company, Purdue Pharma. He said the Sackler family and Purdue Pharma played a role in creating and driving “one of the most devastating public health crisis in American history”.
