More than 20,000 lbs of cocaine were seized by the crew of USCGC Cutter Munro, the “largest at-sea interdiction in 18+ years,” the US Coast Guard said last Friday. The Department of Homeland Security added that 20,000 pounds of cocaine was enough to create over 7.5million potentially lethal doses of the drug.
