Drug misuse in England and Wales

The Office for National Statistics released Drug misuse in England and Wales: year ending March 2025. 8.7% of people aged 16-59 years (c 2.9million people) reported using a drug in the last 12 months, 3.3% of people (c 1.1million people) reported using a Class A drug in that time, 2% were frequent drug users, and drug use was higher among 16- 24 year olds.
