London loses addiction detox unit

This month will see the closure of the detox unit at St Thomas’s Hospital, the only NHS initiative of its kind in London, which treated over 1,000 homeless patients since it opened 4 years ago, Southwark News revealed. It is still trying to identify who made the decision.
