Prenatal cannabis and schizophrenia

Consumption of cannabinoids by either parent before pregnancy could affect placental health, Canada’s Western University et al warned. Testing the placenta after delivery could become a practical way to assess schizophrenia risk, lead author Professor Daniel Hardy recommended.
