Drug and alcohol treatment in custody, thanks to PCC funding

A pioneering programme that supports over 5,000 people every year who are taken into police custody and found to be addicted to drugs and alcohol has been renewed by the West Midlands police and crime commissioner. Simon Foster has funded the initiative for years, so life-changing drug and alcohol support can be offered to those who need it most.
