Uncontrollable vomiting. Seizures. Throwing up blood. These are some symptoms people reported after overdosing on GLP-1 drugs. With increased use in recent years, calls to poison centers for GLP-1 exposures soared. In 2021, they managed about 100 related calls a month; it rose to about 1,000 related calls a month in 2025, the New York Post reported.
