New SAMHSA publication

SAMHSA has published Integrating Physical and Behavioral Health – Addressing Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders with Chronic Physical Illnesses. Medical comorbidities are highly prevalent in these populations and are the leading cause of premature death among those with severe mental illness. This report describes the evolving landscape of integrated care.
