How often should we test for hepatitis C in people who inject drugs?

A recent mathematical modelling study in the Journal of Viral Hepatitis addresses the question of HCV testing frequency in PWID –  results show that in low-prevalence PWID populations, it is possible to achieve the 80% reduction target with a 2-yearly testing strategy, but only if certain compliances are met.
