Rhode Island Hospital, Brown win grant to conduct trial of opioid addiction intervention

Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital have been at the forefront of battling the opioid epidemic in Rhode Island, and a new $800,000 grant from the Laura and John Arnold Foundation will help them to conduct the 1st randomized controlled trial of a peer-based recovery intervention for patients at high risk of overdose.
