Chancellor fails to reassure on health investment

New chancellor of the exchequer Jeremy Hunt has confirmed the abolition of the proposed health and social care levy, despite overturning almost every other proposal made in last month’s ‘mini-budget’. He also said that all government departments would have to “redouble their efforts to find savings”.
