Antipsychotics are increasingly prescribed to children

The proportion of children prescribed antipsychotic drugs doubled 2000-2019, University of Manchester found. But there is little data about the long-term safety in this age group, leading to a rising number of young people referred to CAMHS mental health services.  Researchers share their concerns.
