ACMD: synthetic cathinones

Yesterday, we brought you news of potential tougher penalties around synthetic cathinone ‘monkey dust’ – now Crime, Policing and Fire Minister Chris Philp has commissioned an updated harms assessment from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, to consider if certain synthetic cathinones are more harmful than others and should be treated differently.
