Government funded forum “encourages people who use drugs” to apply for job in death prevention

The Scottish Drug Forum asked “people who use drugs” or former addicts to apply for a role in preventing drug deaths. CEO Kirsten Horsburgh dismissed concerns about someone still “battling their own demons” being placed in a “life saving” role. The advertised role of training & development officer in drug death prevention has a salary of up £38,000.
