The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Home Office, supported a proposal for legislative changes to allow e-prescribing of Schedule 2-3 controlled drugs such as methadone, diamorphine, cannabis and barbiturates. It is assured that hospitals and health and justice settings have appropriate security.
