Sara Britcliffe MP reveals her struggle with an alcoholic mother

Earlier this year, Scottish politicians shared stories of growing up in an alcoholic household – now we learn that Sara Britcliffe MP witnessed her mother’s death from alcoholism when she was 9 years old. She is calling for families suffering from alcoholism to get more support – the policy she would most like to see improve is support for a person leaving rehab.
