Australia: 1st PTSD research centre opens

The University of the Sunshine Coast opened an $18.5million national hub to tackle one of Australia’s most pressing mental health issues. The National PTSD Research Centre plans to understand, educate, advocate and treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which “affects nearly half of Australians”.
