Ireland: drug treatment demand

The Health Research Board reported the highest figures in drug treatment with a continued rise in cocaine use, especially among females. In 2023, 13,104 cases were treated for problem drug use, up more than 1,000 compared to 2022. New cases (never treated before) accounted for 36.6% , while 71.5% were outpatients.
