Fury as taxpayers foot the bill to ferry addicts to inject free heroin at £6million NHS clinic

£thousands of taxpayers’ money has been spent on hiring taxis to take drug addicts to a NHS clinic to be injected with ‘free’ heroin. The Mail revealed that the cost of the heroin-assisted treatment facility has soared to almost £6million – or £102,170 per patient. Rehab can cost 1/10th of that, with life-long improvements.
